The Judgment Seats

The Judgment Seats

Lots of people are confused about what these terms mean and I was one of them for a long time.

The Great White Throne Judgment referred to in Revelation 20:11-13 is for unbelievers.   It is the process God will follow to judge each individual who is not saved; those without repentance for their sins. People who are unbelievers will be judged – condemned – for their actions and they will know why they are going to hell.  All your sin is recorded and will be revealed to you on that day when you stand before The Great White Throne and listen to the charges read against you.  I know it sounds pretty to say The Great White Throne, but this is not something you want to experience for it is there that people who refused to recognize the sacrifice of Jesus will receive their ultimate punishment from God for their rebellion.

The Judgment Seat of Christ (2Corinthians 5:10) is for believers.  This is when God will judge all believers by their works after their salvation.  It isn’t designed to condemn them for their sins, it’s to prove to them that God knows what they did with their salvation; it’s a reward ceremony.  Did they share the gospel and win souls for Christ?  Feed the hungry, tend the sick?  What did you do after you were saved that would please God?  He already knows, but at the Judgment Seat, you’ll know what he knows and you’ll be rewarded accordingly.  Will God say, “well done, thou good and faithful servant” when YOU stand before Him?        (Matthew 25:21)

Time is short, be sure of your salvation today.

How can you become a Christian?  Ask God to forgive your sins, and if your request is sincere and you genuinely want to follow Him, He will forgive you and welcome you into the Body of Christ which is the Church, thus ensuring your eternal life with Him in heaven!

Some people find it easier to have a prayer to offer God in order to receive His grace.  I offer here two examples of “the Sinner’s Prayer” which have been compiled so that people who need a more structured format have a way to receive God’s grace.  Choose the one you’re most comfortable with, and say it out loud.  Don’t worry if you don’t “feel” any different right away – you will; for we do not rely on our “feelings”, we rely on God.  The Holy Spirit is placed in you the moment you accept Christ as your Savior, and He will guide you to all understanding. (John 16:13) God will see to it!

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.  I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead.  I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life.  I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

In Your Name,

Amen.                                     ( www.billygrahamlibrary.org )

Heavenly Father:

I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of my Sins.  I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that Jesus is your Son, and that He died on the Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven.  Father, I believe that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and Savior.  I repent of my Sins and will Worship you all the days of my Life!  Because Your word is truth, I confess with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed by the Blood of Jesus!

In Jesus’ name,

Amen

Welcome to your eternal life in Christ!  Amen!!
